During visit in Polish Sudety, You have to necessarily go to the Rudawy Janowickie, to see the three lakes formed after the old mine workings. Lakes aren't the biggest one, but are beautifuly placed and what is interesting, all are colored in different ways.

Today few videos presenting some Polish musician - Cezik, who makes music videos with only him, but multiplied many times, so it seemes, that the song is played by much more people. One of the vidoes was made by singing "backwards" and then played backwards seems to be normal. This could not be described easli-just watch videos and enjoy.

Not many people knows, that during the First and Second Warld War armored trains and locomotives were used. Such vehicles were built based on normal trains covered by armour plates. First train like this was used (in Poland) in 1863 by insurgents of January Uprising (Powstanie Styczniowe) during battle battle of the Sosnowiec train station. This was regular train only covered by steal plates.

Polish spartansIn 7-8  september the 1939 during the inital phase of war the great battle beetween Polish and German troops took place - battle of Wizna. In this battle, German forces were some 60 times stronger than the Polish defenders!

Bagiński studied architecture but after few years he abandon this path to make computer movies. He's great work which brought him fame was "The Cathedral". He was even nominated to an Oscar with that film.

When at the year 1775 Father Waclaw Tomaszek, pastor at St.. Bartholomew Czermna, observed two dogs digging under a bell tower, he did not know yet that the human bones, found by the animals originate from mass graves containing the remains of tens of thousands of people.

Not many people know, that not so long time ago towers and radiotowers were built not only from steal, but  they were made also from wood. Such wodden radio tower remained in Poland near Gliwice. This tower have two world records: it's the only one left radio tower on earth and it's the highest wooden construction in the world.

The tower was completed in 1935 and were used by Nazis, becouse Gliwice were than Prussian province and belongs to Germany. It is an 118-metre high (including the 8 metre long spire on its top) construction of impregnated larch wood framework.
