9K33 Osa (NATO: SA-8 Gecko, English:Wasp) is a surface-to-air missile system used by Polish army. It is the first vehicle with mobile defence missile system with radar on one, single car - so called all-in-one. Such system can detect, track and destroy aircrafts autonomously. Of course there is also possibility to work with cooperation of ground radar stations.
First Fiat 518, also called "Mazur", was produced in 1937 on FIAT license. From it's Italian version differs in that it was rebuilt to support polish road and exploitation condition. Mazur has two cabin version supporting 4 and 7 persons. Five seater version was more luxury than seven seater - the chairs were more comfortable and could fold to create sleeping place for at least 2 persons.
Many people when thinks about Poland motorization thinks about poor quality cars from communism. They are wrong! Small manufacture (Leopard Automobile AB) in Mielec produce one of the great looking supercars in the world - Leopard. Car is produced since 2005. Every year only about 20 hand made roadsters are built, so it is very unique and rare.
AMZ Tur - polish armored patrol car for infantry - is often called Polish hummer because of look and very good off-roads parameters. Name 'Tur' comes from an aurochs (in Polish it's 'Tur') which once lived in Poland (this is extinct species).
