Today photos of one of the Polish manors - manor in Lopuszna (village near Zakopane near Gorce mountains). The hause was built in 1790 by former confederate of Bar -Romuald Lisicki. For some time manor belongs to Leon Przerwa-Tetmajer - uncle of famous Polish Writer Kazimierz Przerwa-Tetmajer. Till World War II manor was property of Lgocki family, but after 1945 the estate shared the fate of many other manors and was taken over by the Treasury. This almost led Lopuszna to ruin, but in 70'th the manor was taken over by the Tatra Museum and restored.
Miss World contest is the biggest and most famous international beauty contest in the world. The first one took place in 1951. Since then only once Polish women has took the first place. It was in 1989 in Honkgong when Aneta Kręglicka won the Miss World title.
Zombie Walk is an interesting annual event in Poland in which hundreds of people dressed up as zombies march through the streets of Warsaw. It looks really scary, especially that sometimes they're fought by the army, which is of course fake. The whole thing looks very realistic, just like in zombie movies. Enjoy the videos.
