Today photos of one of the Polish manors - manor in Lopuszna (village near Zakopane near Gorce mountains). The hause was built in 1790 by former confederate of Bar -Romuald Lisicki. For some time manor belongs to Leon Przerwa-Tetmajer - uncle of famous Polish Writer Kazimierz Przerwa-Tetmajer. Till World War II manor was property of Lgocki family, but after 1945 the estate shared the fate of many other manors and was taken over by the Treasury. This almost led Lopuszna to ruin, but in 70'th the manor was taken over by the Tatra Museum and restored.

Zombie Walk in 2008Zombie Walk is an interesting annual event in Poland in which hundreds of people dressed up as zombies march through the streets of Warsaw. It looks really scary, especially that sometimes they're fought by the army, which is of course fake. The whole thing looks very realistic, just like in zombie movies. Enjoy the videos.

Sigmund Augustus was a great admirer of female charms. No wonder he was not impressed with his wife Elizabeth, a woman suffering from epilepsy, and often sought solace in other women's arms. The most famous of his mistresses was Barbara Radziwill, a Lithuanian woman from aristocratic family, who returned his affection. It was for her that Sigmund Augustus brought to Poland a special kind of swans.
