During the German occupation in Poland in 1939-1945, Nazis authorities banned the breeding of pigeons. They feared that pigeons would be able to bypass German armies and deliver messages from other countries to Poland or messages from resistance. But the most, Nazis were feared that the world would get know what happens in Poland.

Today pictures and photos of one of the main street in Warsaw, capital of Poland. Photos are before, during and after the Second World War. Just see how the beautiful street was ruined during war. Whole Warsaw was then almost completely destroyed. Hitler had plan to erase the city from the maps.

Polish car - CWS t1 (torpedo version)CWS T-1 it's a Polish car which was built after 1927 till 1933. Car was very successful vehicle, but production had to be suspended due to agreement between Polish government and FIAT company. Poland bought license from Fiat to produce one of their cars (Fiat 508) and in return Polish companies had to stop producing competitive car - CWS T-1. The reason was that production of Italian car was cheaper than Polish one.

Not many people know, that not so long time ago towers and radiotowers were built not only from steal, but  they were made also from wood. Such wodden radio tower remained in Poland near Gliwice. This tower have two world records: it's the only one left radio tower on earth and it's the highest wooden construction in the world.

The tower was completed in 1935 and were used by Nazis, becouse Gliwice were than Prussian province and belongs to Germany. It is an 118-metre high (including the 8 metre long spire on its top) construction of impregnated larch wood framework.
